The Nursing Department leaders at Lutheran Medical Center believe that a collaborative relationship among nurses, health care team members, the patient and family is essential to quality patient care and to the success of treatment. Combining expertise and clinical skills with compassion, the nursing staff is responsible for coordinating care and advocating for our patients and their families. Our nursing leadership team subscribes to evidence-based clinical care and management practices, and believes that professional accountability and job satisfaction are fostered through effective communication, inclusive governance and decentralized decision-making.
