Expansion of Services at the LHC Medical Arts Pavilion
Lutheran Medical Center has expanded services at the LHC Medical Arts Pavilion to include consultations for Radiation Oncology and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
Audrey Saitta, M. D., senior vice president and chair, Radiation Oncology brings cancer treatment expertise to the Medical Arts Pavilion. She specializes in radiation therapy as the main modality of treatment, either alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy for cancer. Dr. Saitta also offers a frameless non-invasive localization and fixation system for cranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS). SRS is a highly accurate from of radiation therapy used in the treatment of brain tumors and cancer and offers the advantage of immobilization during treatment without the traditional invasive methodology. Dr. Saitta is board certified in Radiation Oncology.
Michael Gerling, M.D., board certified orthopedic and spine surgeon, specializes in the treatment of degenerative and traumatic disorders of the spine, adult spinal deformity and other spinal conditions using a full spectrum of surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and disk replacement technologies which optimize outcomes, minimize risk and reduce recovery time. Dr. Gerling works in conjunction with a large team of providers, including neurologists, physiatrists, neurologists, and physical therapists all of whom are highly trained in the treatment of spinal disorders and pain management.
