127TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE – CASINO NIGHT – FUNDRAISER
900 guests attending and proceeds to benefit electronic medical record implementation
WHO: Lutheran HealthCare, its Board of Trustees, its 127th anniversary sponsors and 900 special guests will celebrate Lutheran's anniversary with a fun-filled Casino Night and awards ceremony. Honorees are: Robert A. Zaloom, M.D., director of the May Ellen and Gerald Ritter Cardiology Center as the Physician Honoree, and ARAMARK Healthcare as the Corporate Honoree. New York elected officials and Sopranos star Tony Sirico set to attend.
WHAT: As Lutheran HealthCare's primary fundraiser, the black tie event will help raise critical funds to assist in the implementation of the electronic medical records (EMR) system. The hospital-wide EMR system will significantly and positively impact patient safety, clinical efficiency and overall quality of care.
WHERE: Grand Hyatt New York, 109 East 42nd Street, Grand Central Terminal
WHEN: May 8, 2010. Reception, casino and silent auction start at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, awards and dancing staring at 7:30 p.m.
Honorees will receive the Sister Elizabeth Fedde (Lutheran HealthCare founder, 1883) Medal of Service, established to recognize individuals who continue her legacy of service and commitment to serving the needs of our neighbors.
