LUTHERAN HEALTHCARE "THINKS PINK" FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
November 4, 2008…Brooklyn, New York…In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in honor of Lutheran's 125th Anniversary, Lutheran HealthCare participated in Think Pink Day. On October 29, more than 125 Lutheran employees, visitors and members of the community dressed in pink and gathered in the hospital's main lobby to pose for a photograph. Attendees were provided with information on breast cancer and a free mammogram was raffled off.
