RELATIONSHIP CENTERED CARE INITIATIVE – FULL STEAM AHEAD AT LMC
October 16, 2008, Brooklyn, New York
LMC continues its commitment to patients with its Relationship Centered Care (RCC) program. This approach to patient care was initiated by Rosanne Raso, R.N., senior vice president for Nursing Services, in an effort to both improve patient and staff satisfaction and provide a caring environment for patients with a focus on healthy, healing relationships. More than 40 nurses and staff recently participated in a special dedication ceremony. They celebrated their commitment by lighting candles, taking part in a pinning ceremony and signing a commitment pledge reaffirming their dedication to the patients they serve and to each other.

During the pinning ceremony Rosanne Raso, R.N., senior vice president for Nursing Services, fastens a pin onto Shirlin Dyer, Senior Nursing Attendant.
